Reopening Details


Monday, August 3rd, the Library will reopen for limited hours. Please note Senior/High-Risk Patron Hours indicated with an asterisk.

MONDAY—10 a.m. – 5 p.m. *10-11 a.m. Senior Hours

TUESDAY—12 p.m. – 7 p.m. 

WEDNESDAY—10 a.m. – 5 p.m. *10-11 a.m. Senior Hours

THURSDAY—12 p.m. – 7 p.m. 

FRIDAY—10 a.m. – 5 p.m. *10-11 a.m. Senior Hours

SATURDAY—10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Masks are required for entry for anyone over two years of age. If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, call the library about alternative arrangements for materials. 

Social distancing of 6’ between patrons not in the same household is required.

Browseable collections are available, but stacks are closed. Staff will be happy to assist you with retrieving items from the closed stacks.

Grab & Go is now available in front of the Fireside Room, replacing curbside pickup in our lobby. Grab & Go is available anytime the library is open to the public.

CHILDREN’S ROOM – One family at a time for 20 minutes of browsing, masks (over age 2) and social distancing required. Call the Children’s Room at #781-545-8727 to reserve your appointment!

TEEN ROOM—No appointment necessary, but only three patrons can enter at any given time for 20 minutes of browsing.

Please note that while we look forward to welcoming you back, the current health situation dictates that we continue to offer services on a limited basis. Patrons cannot sit, study, or linger in the library and we encourage visits to be kept to a half-hour maximum. 

Study rooms and meeting rooms are unavailable at this time.
